Welcome! I'm Anna Heckadon and this is my first blog entry! I am a student at the University of Victoria. I'm majoring in Anthropology, with my focus on Cultural Anthropology & Archaeology. I've made this blog for my class on Digital Archaeology (Anth 485). It is meant as a sort of portfolio for my class projects, but I would like to continue using it in future to discuss Anthropology-related topics and hopefully discuss some of my own work down the line! Although I don't know yet exactly what my class projects will be, I know they will be related to the topics of "Creating & Visualizing Data and Digital Materiality & Space" (e.g. mapping, photogrammetry, 3D printing) and "Augmented Reality & Gaming."
I've set up my website to display my blog posts on the "Home" page. You can click on the tab "Posts" to see my most recent blog post. From there you can click back into older posts or you can go back to the home page to click on a particular post if you're looking for something specific. The "About" tab is where you'll find information about me, and the "Projects" tab is where I'll be placing my future projects once I get started on them!
